Viva Las Vegas, BABY!

I just love a beautiful belly bump, & my most recent Las Vegas Maternity Session, PROVIDES. 

During our consultations, Mama Bear let me know that blue was the color she was leaning towards. I absolutely LOVE BLUES, oh yes, I love blue pops of color! I love Blue Skies, Blue Accents, Blue Wardrobe, it is simply, one of my favorite colors to work with.

She found the perfect gown online, and Mama Bear styled herself 100%.  She rocked the session, a la naturelle, with little to no make-up & hair styling. I am ALL about my clients, ahem MODELS, choosing the look that is right for them. Not everyone wants a lot of hair and make-up, & I absolutely understand and cater to each individual’s choice.

I knew I had to come in on a weekend, and given mama bear’s due date, we went with an earlier option during the month. There is a point in time, in a lot of women’s pregnancies, where everything is just, HARDER. Having gone through two pregnancies myself, I absolutely GET IT. I wanted their session to work best with their schedule, I knew it had to be short and sweet, but also, beautiful and a one of a kind experience.

Wardrobe, Check. Scheduling, Check. Location…Ok, this can be a hard one, because the Vegas Valley has so many options for landscapes. You have the Mountains, you have the Lakebeds, the Desert, the Lake itself! & that’s just outside…

Luckily, my clients knew what they wanted, and the location was quick and easy. Joshua Trees, Mountains, Desert. This is literally one of my favorite landscapes, I have a half sleeve tattoo dedicated to all of those things, so I was EXCITED, to say the least.

Meeting my clients for the first time, is always a favorite of mine. I love seeing their wardrobe, and smiling faces. I love being able to capture some of their most memorable moments. I truly consider it an honor, & it is also FUN! Photoshoots should be fun, Right?! We should all enjoy ourselves, let go, laugh a little, enjoy where we are at, in the moment.

& would you believe, this was their first photoshoot! Ever! They were absolute pros, coulda fooled me. & within about, 20 minutes, we were finished with their GORGEOUS session. I also didn’t want to make mama bear walk far, and the trail we chose, was the perfect distance, from the car to the actual shooting area.
